I would not recommend dermabrasion methods as a first line treatment for stretch marks. See Dr. Bernstein's section on Stretch Marks and Microdermabrasion for more on this subject.

Exfoliation is the removal of dead skin cells and debris on the surface of the skin. Microdermabrasion can be very helpful in this regard. See Exfoliation for more information

Q: Will microdermabrasion remove my wrinkles?

Treatment will exfoliate skin, but it will not permanently remove fine lines & wrinkles. It simply doesn't impact the skin enough to improves wrinkles. It's more effective for "freshening up" skin. More aggressive rejuvenation can be affected with laser & energy treatments, injections or other methods. Talk with your physician.
